Bills move fast in the Virginia General Assembly! Virginia Conservation Network (VCN) organizes Conservation Lobby Day to ensure a strong conservation voice is heard early in the legislative session. Volunteer advocates are invited to join professional staff of our Network Partners as we meet with state legislators and encourage them to support environmental policy advancements.
Before Conservation Lobby Day commences on Monday, January 23, 2017, VCN will hold a webinar through which expert lobbyists in the environmental community will explain priority bills in detail and what needs to happen on Lobby Day to ensure their success/defeat. We will release more information about this webinar within the next few weeks.
VCN will be calling legislators' offices to make appointments for everyone who registers for Conservation Lobby Day—if you would like to make your own, please send your appointment information to kelley@vcnva.org.

9:00 – 11:30 a.m. | Lobby meetings with legislators (we will have appointments made for you)
