Proceeds from Historic Garden Week have financed more than forty restorations since 1929. After almost eighty years, The Garden Club of Virginia continues to restore a vital segment of Virginia's splendid landscape.

Basic principals apply to all restorations....

Each garden must be open to the public on a regular basis.
The property's governing body must approve the restoration project.
The property's governing body must agree to maintain the restoration.
The Garden Club of Virginia engages professional landscape architects to plan and oversee the restorations.
