Fall into Entertaining – A Floral Design Symposium
Tuesday, September 18, 9:00am to 4:00pm
The Leesburg Garden Club invites you to come and discover an exciting way of approaching floral design. Join us as we present Jane Godshalk, AIFD, author, lecturer, teacher will guide you through unbelievable, cutting edge floral design. Next, the women behind Grit & Grace will walk you through the use of spectacular floral designs by creating “tablescapes”. Presentations will wrap up with the husband-wife partnership of LynnVale Studios, LLC. Lou Gagnon, fine artist, will present on the artist interpretation of a “floral color wheel”. Andrea Gagnon, a leader in the American Grown Flower movement, will talk about her passion for growing and designing with her beautiful farm-grown flowers. There is an entertaining presentation in store – “Cooking with the Caterers” features local chefs who will demonstrate their skill of preparing special event cuisine. And time is provided for you to visit the boutique tent to find a gift for someone special and for yourself! Breakfast coffee and sweets and a scrumptious box lunch are provided in your registration fee. To finish off the amazing day be our guest for a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception.
This is a fundraising event. Proceeds will be used to further our mission “…to promote active interest in gardening and to assist in the protection and development of the natural beauties of the State”.
