The Garden Study Club of Martinsville takes great pleasure in inviting you to the 98th Annual Meeting of the Garden Club of Virginia, Tuesday, May 15 thru Thursday, May 17, 2018. We will gather in Martinsville for three days of business, socializing, and a showcase of area “Women on Track!”
Here are a few details to help make your trip to Martinsville more enjoyable:
Lodging
We have secured a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn Martinsville (276-647-4700) and The Baymont Inn & Suites Martinsville (276-638-0478). Please make your room reservations as soon as possible. You will be asked as part of your Annual Meeting Registration where you will be staying, so we can get an accurate count for bus pickups.
Activities
Tuesday, May 15th - Dutch Treat Dinner at Sandy River Equestrian Center ($70). Reservations are required, so please be sure to select the Dutch Treat Dinner option on your registration form, if you plan to attend this event at Sandy River Equestrian Center. (Casual Attire)
Wednesday, May 16th - Martinsville Speedway Tour and Hamlet Vineyards Luncheon. There is no additional charge for this activity, but reservations are required so please be sure to select the Martinsville Speedway Hamlet Vineyards option on your registration form.
Wednesday, May 16th – Cocktails and Banquet Dinner at Chatmoss Country Club. There is no additional charge for this activity, but reservations are required so please be sure to select the Banquet Dinner option on your registration form.
Thursday, May 17th - Box Lunch Option at New College Institute. Box lunches will be provided by the Martinsville Garden Club following the business meeting on Thursday. There is no charge for the lunch, but reservations are required so please be sure to select the Box Lunch option on your registration form.
