The GCV Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel our 2020 Horticulture Field day planned for September 23 and 24 in Norfolk. Last week Governor Northam instituted Phase 2 guidelines for all of Hampton Roads in a response to a significant spike in COVID-19 cases in the area. Attention to the health and safety of all remains the Board’s highest concern and is a priority for the scheduling of current and future GCV events.
Those who have registered to attend this event will receive a refund for their registration fee. Many thanks to the Horticulture committee and members of the Norfolk clubs for their time and efforts in planning what was sure to have been a special time for all garden lovers.
