Annual Fund

Membership dues and an endowment draw cover only a portion of the cost of running our statewide organization. The annual fund, established in 2009, provides unrestricted funding so that we may better serve our 47 clubs across the commonwealth. The fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30. We are grateful to all our members and friends who help us reach our yearly goal of $110,000 in support of our conservation, preservation and education efforts.

The Annual Fund is:

  • improving statewide communications
  • protecting the GCV’s endowed resources
  • keeping member dues stable
  • enabling the GCV to increase support to member clubs hosting GCV events
  • ensuring that all of Historic Garden Week’s net revenue goes to vital restoration projects

Donors to the Annual Fund are recognized quarterly in the Journal and in Year in Review every fall, and donors giving to the Annual Fund for three consecutive years or more are recognized as “Perennials” in Year in Review
